How the data will be used
What happens to your information when you submit your survey
Secure databases are used with restricted access, that meet University standards.
Your anonymous survey responses are sent to the University to be held onsite alongside your personal data.
Survey responses are aggregated to produce statistics for each Department/Faculty. It is only this anonymous Department/Faculty information that is used/analysed.
Your data remains confidential.
The main purpose is to produce the statutory return for TRAC (Transparent Approach to Costing).
From 2025 it will also be used to help us to split costs to different activities in the Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT) prototype. EFT is helping the University move to a new way of budgeting, requiring better understanding of income and expenditure.
The information will not be shared with anyone who manages you in a way that can identify you.
